H.E. Dr. Maan-ee LEE, former Minister of Environment of the Republic of Korea, has made a concerted effort to improve and enhance environmental value and sustainable development. He facilitated experts groups, local governmental organizations, and civil societies to participate in environment and climate change policies planning and implementation. Promoting the Korean policy of “low carbon, green growth”, H.E. Dr. Lee is dedicated to strengthening voluntary cooperation networks such as the Local Agenda 21. He is currently chairman of the LOHAS Korea Forum, representative of the Damyang Eco Forum and member of the World Wike City Federation.
