Five youth-related Motions have been submitted to the IUCN Resolutions Committee by the IUCN Netherlands Committee, IUCN Council President Ashok Khosla, and the Task Force on Intergenerational Partnership for Sustainability:

  5. Establishing the IUCN Young Champions Award (Task Force)

IUCN CEC member Dominic Stucker of the Task Force on Intergenerational Partnership for Sustainability provides this update on progress: "We have been in discussion with Ashok Khosla about potentially merging his Motion with ours on formalizing the Task Force. The others compliment one another very well. Motions will be voted on by IUCN Member Organizations and States at the World Conservation Congress in Jeju, South Korea in September. Thanks to all our co-sponsors!"
