Free ecotours

The IUCN Congress experience wouldn’t be complete without exploring the surroundings of the venue. This is why the Host Country is giving participants the chance to go on one-day-long ecological excursions – free of charge – on 13 September.

Jeju boasts an array of breathtaking natural sites that has firmly placed the island on the map of world must-sees. With three UNESCO titles, namely a Biosphere, a Natural World Heritage site and nine Geoparks, as well as three Ramsar sites, Korea’s crown jewel offers some of the best opportunities for ecotourism.

Sign up and reserve your place on an excursion so you can discover the island’s treasures. You will be able to choose from 22themed one-day tours, from trekking the famous Mt Hallasan or the volcanic fields to visiting Jeju’s recycling system.

To do so, log in to your registration account and follow the Ecotours link on the info or confirmation tab, so you will be identified as a registered participant. You will be prompted to create a password for the ecotour booking portal.

Enjoy the planning!
