I am the Deputy Secretary General of the East African Community in Charge of the Productive and Social Sectors. I am in the business of marketing organic products for treatment of sewage, septic tanks, pit latrines, water and storm water in Uganda. I am also the CEO of Radio Amani (Uganda) Limited, Member, Board of Trustees, Africa Leadership Foundation (AFRICAF), Chairperson, Steering Committee of the Ugandan Youth Fighting Climate Change (UYFCC), Networking with Planet Africa-CANADA.

I have a 12 year experience researching, planning, legislating, policy formulating and implementing Environmental and Natural Resources, social and business programmes at the Local, National, Regional and International levels. I have participated in several Conservation forums and contributed significantly at all opportunities.

I bring to IUCN a diverse input of ideas based on hands-on experiences, observations, policies and practices useful for IUCN’s programmes’ development and implementation. Together with fellow Councillors, the Director General, Secretariat and other Members, I will ensure adherence to the Statutes, and offer appropriate guidance on our policies and programmes.

Given the mandate; I pledge to serve IUCN’s global interests and mission without prejudice and I will serve as a link to my region and membership.
